In 2003, Josh founded Cresta Management Services, an Executive Staffing and Human Resources firm. Cresta became one of the leading boutique staffing and HR services agencies in the United States, focused on the Public Accounting and Technology Arenas, with offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City.
In 2020, Josh orchestrated a strategic transition, rebranding Cresta into Cross Country Recruiting, or XCTR. This move propelled XCTR to become one of the fastest-growing boutique executive staffing agencies in the United States, serving clients from coast to coast, from New York to California. Today, the evolution continues as XCTR has transformed into Forth Recruiting, Inc., or Forth, a testament to Josh's adaptability and strategic vision.
Before Cresta, Josh served as the Director of Recruiting for a significant West Coast accounting firm and established an external recruiting operation as the Managing Partner and Director of Recruiting for a billion-dollar commercial real estate company. During this time, he shaped the “relationships-first” approach that defines Forth's service philosophy.
