Forth Recruiting is proud to represent a mid-size CPA firm in downtown San Francisco seeking a CPA with strong leadership potential for a Partner-Track Trust & Estate Tax Senior Manager or Director role. Position Summary

  • Job Title: Senior Manager or Director, Trust and Estate Tax (Partner track)

  • Work Arrangement: Full-time, Hybrid Work Schedule

  • Compensation: $175,000 to $230,000, Year-end bonus, Signing bonus

  • Firm Type: Mid-Size Public Accounting

  • Location: Downtown San Francisco, CA

Education and Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: BA/BS in Accounting or related field.

  • Credentials: Active CPA license, non-negotiable

  • Must be authorized to work in the USA

Experience

  • Experience: 4–12 years of accounting experience, ideally including Big 4 or top-tier firm background

  • Trust & estate tax experience or solid high-net-worth individual tax experience

  • Commercial/corporate tax or audit background also considered for standout candidates

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong technical tax knowledge—trusts, estates, or corporate/commercial tax experience preferred

  • Demonstrated leadership or the potential to lead client engagements and teams

  • Self-directed with strong time management skills

  • Strong client service and communication abilities

  • Business development skills or the ability to develop and grow a book of business (existing book a plus but not required)

  • Strong technical foundation and client advisory skills

  • A desire to grow into an equity partner role and contribute to firm strategy
