Essentials

  • Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000 Base (DOE)

  • Bonus: Year-end bonus based on salary, plus 40% split of the firm’s net profit

  • Position Classification: Full-Time, Exempt

  • Work Model: Hybrid or Onsite

  • Start Date: ASAP, but open to an October 15, 2025, start date for the right candidate

Education and Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: BA/BS in Accounting or related field.

  • CPA or EA preferred (not required)

  • Must be authorized to work in the USA

Experience

  • 4–7 years of tax preparation experience, preferably in public accounting

  • Proficient in Thomson Reuters tax software

  • Strong generalist background across all tax entities

  • Familiarity with payroll, sales tax, and property tax filings

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines independently

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corps, and C corps

  • File sales tax reports, payroll tax reports, and property tax renditions

  • Prepare various other forms associated with tax compliance and preparation

  • Respond to tax authority notices and support client inquiries

  • Assist in year-end planning and general firm workflow during busy seasons
